Bundoran Tourism Officer Shane Smyth speaking after the event concluded said ‘we were honoured once again to have “Ireland’s Surf Capital” host the annual Irish national surfing championships run by Irish Surfing.  Our consistent good conditions provide an ideal location for national and international competitions.  I’d like to congratulate Gearoid on the retention of his title and say well done to all the other winners.
