Going Out 2016-11-08T08:44:49+00:00

Whatever kind of mood you’re in for going out then Bundoran has you covered!

If it’s a quiet meal and a drink your after or dancing the night away to the latest chart hits or live bands there are plenty of options in town.

Country music is where it’s at and not a weekend goes by but one of Ireland’s top country stars is performing in town – from Nathan Carter to Derek Ryan and Jimmy Buckley – they’re all regular visitors to Ireland’s Country Capital.

Traditional may be more your thing and you won’t be left out with the weekly trad sessions at George’s and Madden’s Bridge Bar. For the young (and young at heart) you can dance the night away to the latest chart hits in one of the town’s 4 nightclubs who will often have live bands and celebrity appearances (check listings for details) and with free live music in most of the towns bars at the weekend and nightly during the summer you’re bound to find somewhere that suits your taste.

Brennan's "The Criterion" Bar, Main St., Bundoran

Of course if it’s the quiet pint and conversation you want, we’re delighted to recommend Bundoran’s oldest pub Brennan’s Criterion Bar on Main Street – no tv, no music – just conversation – sometimes just how it should be!

When you’re hungry there’s also plenty of choice with many restaurants promoting the Failte Ireland Family Friendly initiative. From pizza to gourmet burgers to fine dining, European, Indian & Chinese, your palette is guaranteed to be satisfied!
