The Allingham Festival
On from 2nd – 6th of November
Based in Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal, Ireland, ‘The Allingham Festival’ is a celebration of the life and works of one of our town’s most famous ancestors, writer and poet William Allingham and his wife, the fine artist, Helen Allingham. Each year sees their memory celebrated with events and workshops in poetry, creative writing, digital storytelling, art & design, fine art and singer song writing. The festival is designed to inspire and showcase participants and lovers of the creative arts.
