Waterworld Bundoran present cheques to 2017 charity partners

Waterworld Bundoran, Ireland’s Premier Indoor Aqua Adventure Playground, have presented cheques from the proceeds of the annual charity day at the beginning of June to this year’s four beneficiary partners.

The four charities were the beneficiaries of takings on Waterworld’s annual charity day which this year took place on Saturday 3rd June.  The four beneficiary charities are Ozanam House, Bumbelance (Donegal Service), Bundoran Community Development CLG and STOP Suicide.

Speaking at the presentation of cheques to the charities, Vice Chairman of Bundoran Waterworld Frankie O’Gorman said that the charity day was another great success “We had one of best charity days ever with a huge amount of people through the facility on the day and a percentage of each entrance going to the charities. We are so well supported by the local community each year when we open so this is just our gesture of saying thank you by offering local charities a unique fundraising opportunity through our annual charity day’

Supporters of the charities were encouraged via social media posts and videos to attend on the day so that donations could be maximized.

Waterworld Bundoran is open daily throughout the summer from 10am-7pm (last entry 6pm) from July 1st.
