Who we follow

If you follow us on Twitter or Instagram, we will not automatically follow you back. This is to help our followers identify other Twitter and Instagram accounts that we are following such as tourism and public service related accounts.

@Replies and Direct Messages

We welcome feedback from our followers and will try to join the conversation where possible. However, we may not be able to reply individually to all the messages we receive via Twitter and Facebook.  The best means of communicating a query to us is by using the Contact Us link on our website.

Please do not include personal/private information in your tweets to us.

Customer queries can also be directed through this channel.  This account is monitored regularly during office opening hours 09:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.

Podcast

Our podcast is called the Bundoran Weekly and is hosted by our Tourism Officer Shane Smyth. It is available every Friday at 11am and includes a roundup of gigs and events happening in town that weekend and also an interview with someone “Bundoran related”.

Any other page, account or group on social media channels bearing the name Discover Bundoran or claiming to represent Discover Bundoran or the Bundoran Tourism Officer is not an official Discover Bundoran account. However, as we aim to achieve best practice in the tourism and customer service industry with social media, the current network of Discover Bundoran Social Media Channels may grow over time. Users should therefore review this page on an on-going basis for the up-to-date official list.

We will endeavour to update the Discover Bundoran Social Media Channels regularly. This includes changing the content at any time. We reserve the right to suspend access to or, if necessary, close some or all of the Discover Bundoran Social Media Channels indefinitely.
