Master Angler 2014

Mullaghmore –> Donegal Bay

This weekend sees the 2014 Master Angler boat fishing competition being held in Donegal Bay, hosted by the Mullaghmore Sea Angling Club. It is expected that over 50 of the countries best anglers along with supporters, coming from all over Ireland, will arrive in the area from Thursday for the weekend to compete in the event.
 
Stakes couldn’t be higher with the overall winner going on to captain the Irish International Team in the World Championships next year and the other top anglers qualifying for the fish offs that will make up the rest of the team .
 
Local Anglers, Boris Siegel from Ardfarna, who is the main organiser of this event will be competing along with Brian Faulkner (Bundoran) and Michael Patton (Ballyshannon). Best of luck to all competing & tight lines everyone!
