Bundoran’s Burro Burro serving Mexican Christmas
Burro Burro – Bundoran’s latest eatery – which opened to great anticipation in June of this year, has a new and festive offering running from now until Christmas.
Owner Huib van der Aar, having made Donegal his home almost 7 years ago, drew on his experiences living in Mexico and travelling around California “I felt a place serving healthy, fresh and quick food would be a great addition to the town. I fell in love with the food and the flavours in Mexico. Our burritos and bowls are perfect if you’re on a quick break from work or school, or if you’re famished getting out from the surf!”
The burrito bar which has already garnered a great local following, will be adding an Aztec inspired chilli hot chocolate (originally called Xocolatl) to their menu. The recipe was created by cookbook author Finn Ní Fhaoláin – who also designed the Burro Burro menu – and comes from her bestselling cookbook Finn’s World.
