Local musicians lining up for online Bundoran St Patrick’s Day celebration
A host of local musicians are lined up to take part in the special St Patrick’s Day celebration broadcast which will air on the Discover Bundoran Facebook page on March 17th in place of a real life parade through the seaside town.
The special broadcast will kick off at 3pm (Irish time) and will feature footage of a number of classic parades from the town from 1987 right up to 2019. A number of local musicians have also agreed to do a special performance for the day including Johnny Gallagher, Marion Fitzgerald, the Screaming Orphans, Garry Doherty, Alan Chapman, Kevin Francis and more.
Producer of the broadcast, Bundoran Tourism Officer Shane Smyth said ‘we are thankful to all of those local musicians who have agreed to take part in our special St Patrick’s Day broadcast. We’ve also been getting a number of video greetings from our “Bundoran Abroad” from every corner of the globe which we will be including throughout the broadcast.
