Waterworld Bundoran seek 2017 Charity Partners
Ahead of the opening of its 26th season, Ireland’s Premier Indoor Aqua Adventure Playground, Waterworld Bundoran has announced that it is seeking 4 charities to be beneficiary partners this year.
In 2016, local charities Bundoran Community Childcare, Ballyshannon Community Childcare, Ballyshannon/Bundoran NYP and the Bluestack Centre received €625 each and now Waterworld is inviting local charities to apply to be one of this year’s beneficiaries.
Chairman of Bundoran Waterworld PJ Delaney said “we are so well supported by the local community each year when we open so this is just our gesture of saying thank you by offering local charities a unique fundraising opportunity through our annual charity day. We would encourage charities who wish to benefit from this to get in touch and let us know why they feel they should be chosen”.
The annual charity day will take place on Waterworld’s 26th birthday, Saturday 3rd of June, when a percentage of entrance fees, on that day, will be donated to the charities.
Speaking about the partnership, General Manager of Waterworld, Anderson Keys said “we encourage the charities, through their own contacts and social media channels, to urge their supporters to come to Waterworld on the day – the more people through the doors, the more they get – it’s a very simple system!”
Charities wishing to apply are asked to email their details to info@waterworldbundoran.com along with the reason they should be chosen as one of the charity partners. The closing date for receipt of applications is Friday 24th March 2017.
Waterworld opens for Season 26 on Good Friday April 14th at midday.
