Bundoran and the surrounding area is in for a treat on Saturday 24th September at Bundoran Community Centre as the legendary Hank Wangford (known as the UK’s doctor of all things bold country) takes to the stage alongside Leitrim’s very own master of word and wit Seamus O’Rourke. Both men will be joined by rising stars Donegal based folk/trad group The Messages for this unique concert.
The Messages lot on the evening will consist of Cavan lass, Fiona Maria Fitzpatrick, Donegal’s Seanan Brennan (KILA), Denise Boyle and James McNamee on fiddles and UK’s hero John Devine on Uilleann Pipes/Keys. Also special guests to appear are, genius of jazz and country on the pedal steel/dobro is the amazing Richard Nelson and Modal Citizen Record boss Marc Geagan on double bass.
The event is proudly supported by Donegal County Council and Government of Ireland’s Local Live Performance Programming Support Scheme via the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sports & Media.
Doors open at Bundoran Community Centre (Rougey Suite) at 7:30pm on Saturday September 24th with the concert starting at 8pm.

If you can’t get enough of this gig, then the show moves to the Corn Mill Theatre Arts Centre in Carrigallen, County Leitrim the following day with tickets available from the Corn Mill Theatre website.
