Sea Sessions is about much more than just music though.  Before the Wild Atlantic Way became a reality Sea Sessions was celebrating life on the wild, west coast. Anne Marie Conlon, head of Communications for Donegal County Council, has said “We are delighted to support the festival each year. It represents everything great about Bundoran and indeed Donegal, from the stunning scenery to the night life and the very special way of life that’s enjoyed in the North West. Sea Sessions has become an iconic part of the festival scene in Ireland and has really personified the thriving Irish surf culture where some of the best waves in the world can be found.

Festival director Ray O’Donoghue says “We think this line-up is the strongest yet. We’ve got the legendary Primal Scream. They’ve been on the festival radar for years and it’s great that we’ve finally booked them. Tinie Tempah is a mega star with a string of hits so we’re also delighted to bring him up to Bundoran. There’s also a bunch of Sea Sessions first timers and loads more that we’re holding back. We expect this year to sell out even sooner than last so we strongly advise people to get tickets.”
