Bundoran Street Party to take place this Saturday

The second annual Bundoran Street Party takes place this Saturday 16th July on Main Street Bundoran from 2-5pm.

Following the success of last year’s event, the Street Party returns this year and will be located on Lower Main Street between the junctions of Station Road and Promenade Road.  Free attractions will include bouncy castles, a bungee run, a rodeo ring and a gladiator ring as well as music and a parade.  There’ll also be facepainting and

Bundoran Tourism Officer Shane Smyth said “we are very much looking forward to the street party this Saturday and to welcoming lots of families in particular who we hope will have an enjoyable afternoon with us. The emphasis will be on fun with lots of different activities for all family members to enjoy.  I would like to thank Macks Amusements and the Olympic Amusements for their generous sponsorship on the day to allow us to make all the attractions free of charge.’

On Sunday afternoon (17th), vintage car enthusiasts will be catered for with the Vintage and Classic Car Show which will happen at the West End Car Park from 12-4pm.  Organised by the Donegal Vintage and Classic Car Club, the event will see cars from all over the county and indeed the country take part in the show.   A donation of €5 is requested from spectators with all proceeds of the day going to Bundoran RNLI Lifeboat and Ozanam House.
