Waterworld Bundoran present cheques to 2016 charity partners
Waterworld Bundoran, Ireland’s Premier Indoor Aqua Adventure Playground, have presented cheques from the proceeds of the annual charity day at the beginning of June to this year’s four beneficiary partners.
The four charities were the beneficiaries of takings on Waterworld’s annual charity day which this year took place on Saturday 4th June. The four beneficiary charities are Ballyshannon/Bundoran NYP, The Bluestack Centre Donegal Town, Saimer Community Childcare Ballyshannon and Bundoran Community Childcare.
Speaking at the presentation of cheques to the charities, Chairman of Bundoran Waterworld PJ Delaney said “we are so well supported by the local community each year when we open so this is just our gesture of saying thank you by offering local charities a unique fundraising opportunity through our annual charity day. We had a huge amount of people through the facility on the day with a percentage of each entrance going to the charities.’
The annual charity day took place as part of Waterworld’s 25th anniversary celebrations on Saturday 4th June and guests attending the facility on the day received a free gift as well as 25% off their next visit.
Supporters of the charities were encouraged to attend on the day so that donations could be maximized.
