Bundoran reels in another year as annual review published
The annual review of the year in Bundoran has been published looking back at another busy 12 months in the seaside town.
The arrival of no less than 6 named storms, film crews, bloggers, music fans, swimmers, runners, thrill seekers and more are documented in the blog which has become an annual feature of the Discover Bundoran website every year – this year’s edition is the 14th iteration of “Reeling in Bundoran” whose name pays homage to the popular RTE TV show.
Written by Bundoran Tourism Officer Shane Smyth, “Reeling in Bundoran” looks back over the year of 2023 and various activities and events in the town including the Bundoran 10, St Patrick’s Day, Sea Sessions, the Irish Surf Nationals and more. He said ‘it’s important to look back and reflect on the year in the town and I’m delighted to be able to do this annually through our Discover Bundoran website. It doesn’t ever claim to be a comprehensive retrospect of the year but certainly covers the more memorable moments in the town. In years to come it is always nice to look back over the various blogs with the nostalgia hat on!”
This year’s blog is available on the Discover Bundoran website at https://discoverbundoran.com/category/decades/ where the previous 13 blogs dating back to 2010 can also be read.
