Unique Christmas Concert to take place in Bundoran
A juggernaut of local talent will descend on the Eclipse Cinema on Friay 15th December to take part in a unique Christmas Concert which will see the launch of a Christmas single to benefit North West Hospice and also to raise funds for the Bundoran Community Music Project.
The Bel Canto Choir, Cór Creevy and the choir of St Macartan’s National School will all be taking part in the evening which will be held in the Eclipse Cinema in Bundoran. There will also be a reprise of music from the recently released Songs of Erne as well as performances from the Bundoran Community Music Project – an initiative set up to teach music to local children in the area.
Lasting just 90 minutes, the concert will also see the launch of a special Christmas single to benefit the North West Hospice. The single is performed by Marion Fitzgerald and is a Christmas twist on an old local favourite.
Concert organiser Marc Geagan says ‘we’ve been working hard with the Bundoran Community Music Project all year and the kids are eager to show off what they have learned in the last few months. Coupled with that the immense talents of Bel Canto, Cór Creevy and the choir from St Macartan’s National School and also music from Songs of Erne are sure to make the night a lively one. We also look forward to revealing the Christmas single in aid of North West Hospice on the night – one which I’m sure will be very close to the hearts of the people of Bundoran.
The concert starts at 7:30pm and admission is just €10.
