Another Gold for Waterworld in Bundoran as White Flag National Standard Award is retained for 2017 Season!
November 28th 2016 – Waterworld Bundoran, Ireland’s Premier Indoor Aqua Adventure Playground, has once again been awarded the White Flag – one of only two for County Donegal. The White Flag National Quality Standard Gold Award was presented to Waterworld Duty Managers Noreen Sweeney and Tom Losey at a recent ceremony in the Hodson Bay Hotel in Athlone.
Chief Executive of Donegal County Council Seamus Neely and operators of Waterworld, said he was delighted with yet another award for its Bundoran facility. ‘The White Flag National Quality Standard, grades facilities’ operational standards, similar to the Blue Flag award which classifies Donegal’s beaches, and it is the most sought after accolade in the leisure and fitness industry. It is the only industry specific award for the Irish leisure and fitness sector and this year saw over 100 entrants for the Awards and we are delighted that Waterworld its impressive record in the area. I’d like to congratulate Anderson and his team on another job well done.’
