The Coronas to Headline Sea Sessions 2017
The Beach Party Weekend of the Year takes place Friday 23 June – Sunday 25 June
Hugely popular Dublin act The Coronas are the latest act to be announced for Sea Sessions 2017. Taking place in Bundoran, recently voted the Coolest Place on the Planet by National Geographic Traveller Magazine, The Coronas will join Primal Scream as the first 2 headliners at the festival from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 June. Fans of The Coronas can look forward to hearing new material as the band are set to release their as yet untitled fifth studio album in 2017, the follow up to the platinum selling ‘The Long Way’, which was released in 2014.

Now heading into its tenth year, Sea Sessions has really grown in popularity over the last few years and now sells out weeks in advance. It’s situated right on the beach in Bundoran and has played host to such international acts as Tinie Tempah, Paul Weller, Bastille and Seasick Steve to name but a few. Alongside music, there’s Ireland’s biggest Surf Event, Skating, BMX, Beach Sports and much more packed into the 3 full days of partying by the beach.
Ray O’Donoghue Festival director says “The Coronas played Sea Sessions about 5 years ago. We caught their set at Electric Picnic recently and it was unreal. They’re a great live band with a big back catalogue and are well overdue a trip back up to the Northwest.”
