Waterworld Bundoran seeks 2018 Charity Partners
Now firmly in its 27th season, Ireland’s Premier Indoor Aqua Adventure Playground, Waterworld Bundoran has announced that it is seeking 4 charity partners to be beneficiaries this year.
In 2017, charities Bumbelance, STOP Suicide, Ozanam House and Bundoran Community Development CLG received €600 each and now Waterworld is inviting local charities to apply to be one of this year’s beneficiaries.
The annual charity day will take place on Waterworld’s 27th birthday, Saturday 2nd of June, when a percentage of entrance fees, on that day, will be donated to the charities.
Speaking about the partnership, General Manager of Waterworld, Anderson Keys said “we encourage the charities, through their own contacts and social media channels, to urge their supporters to come to Waterworld on the day – the more people through the doors, the more they get – it’s a very simple system!”
Chairman of Bundoran Waterworld PJ Delaney said “we are so well supported by the local community each year when we open so this is just our gesture of saying thank you by offering local charities a unique fundraising opportunity through our annual charity day. We would encourage charities who wish to benefit from this to get in touch and let us know why they feel they should be chosen”.

Charities wishing to apply are asked to email their details to info@waterworldbundoran.com along with the reason they should be chosen as one of the charity partners. The closing date for receipt of applications is Tuesday 1st May 2018.
Waterworld reopened for Season 27 on Good Friday and will be open weekends until June 1st when it will open daily until September 2nd.
