Cara Bundoran Challenge 2017 Charities announced

It was recently announced that four deserving charities will benefit from the Cara Bundoran Challenge 2017. Cycle against suicide, RNLI local lifeboats, Bundoran Development Community Centre and Tir Chonaill Athletics Club.

The event, over the past five years has expanded and gained an International reputation that attracts entries from local keep fit enthusiasts to National and Olympic athletes.

Participants indicate superb organisation, a stunningly flat course that includes stretches of ‘the Wild Atlantic Way’ along the coast of Leitrim and around Bundoran, a friendly and welcoming atmosphere plus hospitality – each entrant also receives a valuable ‘goodie bag’ thanks to very generous sponsors led by Cara Pharmacies

Individual and category prizes amounting to close to €10,000 puts the event amongst the most participant friendly in the country.

The organising committee’s Chair Canice Nicholas, and race director Paddy Donoghue, indicate that the event will have a record entry and are confident that for the first time over 2,000 participants will converge on the South Donegal venue on the weekend of 10th,11th and 12th March
