It’s A Knockout fundraiser to take place in Bundoran this August!

A major fundraising event based on the “It’s A Knockout” format will take place on Sunday 6th August to support the Realt Na Mara GAA Club.

The event which will be a fun family day out, will see 18 local teams of 5 compete against each other across obstacle courses filled with water and foam and will happen at Gaelic Park Bundoran – the home of Realt Na Mara GAA. The fun will kick off at 2pm on the day and will run until 6pm.

Event director and chairperson of Bundoran Ladies GAA Nicola Gavigan says there is already a huge interest in the event ‘we’ve had a really positive reaction as we’ve approached businesses to submit teams and give sponsorship.  “It’s A Knockout” is a proven successful fundraiser and we’re really excited to have it come to Bundoran. Lots of local businesses have already committed to providing teams on the day so it should really make for a fun day out.”

There will be bouncy castles, face painting and lots more fun activities on the day for spectators. Admission will be €5 per person or €20 for a family of 5. For more information on the day and how you can take part contact Nicola on 086 8722964.
