Pumpkins to be paraded in Bundoran for Halloween
The annual pumpkin family event and pumpkin parade will take place once again in Bundoran on Bank Holiday Monday 30th of October at the Atlantic Apartotel on Main Street.
The family friendly event will feature a photobooth, magic show with Nemo as well as a Fancy Dress Catwalk Run, facepainting and spooky storytelling. As usual, the pumpkin parade will take place at dusk along Main Street, concluding at Bundoran Community Library where prizes will be awarded for the best pumpkins and fancy dress costumes.
Event organiser Maura Logue of Dark Daughter Productions is looking forward to the day ‘Halloween is such a fun time of year especially for families and kids with the dress up and creativity from carving pumpkins and trick or treating. We’ll have an exciting line-up for the young and not so young including Halloween magic and some spooky stories.’
Participants of the parade are encouraged to bring along their own pre-carved pumpkin which will be judged ahead of the parade with prizes from local businesses including Waterworld, Bundoran Glowbowl, Eclipse Cinemas, Olympic Arcade and Cosgrove’s Supervalu up for grabs.
Admission on the day for children is €5 and for adults is €10 and places MUST be pre-booked online as space in the venue is limited. Pre-booking can be made on Eventbrite with payment to be made on the door on the day.
